Payment of the deposit or invoice, or any part thereof, is deemed to be acknowledgement and acceptance by you and your travel party of the terms and conditions of your booking.
Payment is accepted via BANK TRANSFER OR DEPOSIT (Australian Account holders only)
Credit Card (Visa and Mastercard) – fees of 1.5% for Visa and MasterCard apply.
Any deposit paid will be accepted as part payment of the total cost of the booking.
No booking is guaranteed until payment is received.
Failure to make the final payment by the due date will entitle Bali Retreats Pty Ltd to cancel your booking whereupon the deposit paid shall be forfeited.
All prices are subject to change until final payment has been made.
If for any reason a travel service provider is unable to provide the services which you have booked, your claim lies against that provider, and not against Bali Retreats Pty Ltd.
In the event that payment has been made to Bali Retreats Pty Ltd by credit card, you agree that you will not endeavour to have your bank reverse payment to Bali Retreats Pty Ltd.
Our change & Cancellation fee’s
Any amendment to your booking may incur amendment fees.
Subject to your refund and remedy rights under the Australian Consumer Law, the following change or cancellation fees will apply to your booking (including online bookings and bookings made with a consultant), as set out in sections below:
Changes to bookings will incur a fee of $25 per booking in addition to any travel service provider fees.
Cancellations bookings will incur a fee of $50 per booking in addition to any travel service provider fees.
Reissue of travel documents will incur a fee of $25 per booking in addition to any travel service provider fees.
These change and cancellation fees reflect the reasonable, direct and indirect costs, time and effort incurred or involved in us providing booking and advisory services to you, as well as processing and managing the changes to, or cancellation of, you’re booking.
All payments and transactions are calculated and processed in AUD.
Change or cancellation by you
If you change any aspect of your booking, we will do our best to accommodate your request, but it may not always be possible. All changes will be subject to any applicable travel service provider fees and Bali Retreats Pty Ltd change fees set out above, and you will be responsible for any increase in pricing that may occur as a result of your change request. For instant purchase or non-refundable bookings, if you cancel any aspect of your booking, you will not be entitled to a refund, travel credit or other remedy from the travel service provider and/or Bali Retreats Pty Ltd.
Cancellations & Refunds
All cancellations must be notified by email.
Fees will be charged if you cancel your booking. This includes all fees charged by suppliers up to 100% of the booking price.
Cancellation fees for each individual supplier will be listed on the invoice under booking terms and conditions.
If you fail to show up for any reason no refund will be given.
No refund will be given for reduction of stay once checked in.
Travel documents include airline tickets, accommodation vouchers, tour vouchers or any other document, whether in electronic form or otherwise, used to confirm an arrangement with a service provider. Travel documents may be subject to certain conditions and/or restrictions including being non-refundable, non-date changeable and subject to cancellation and/or amendment fees. Travel documents cannot be transferred to another person to use.
All airline tickets must be issued in the name of the passport/photo identity holder. An incorrect name on a booking may result in an inability to use that booking and the booking being cancelled. Any errors in names, dates and timings on your documentation will be your responsibility if not advised and confirmed by you at the time of booking.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have valid passports, visas and re-entry permits which meet the requirements of immigration and other authorities. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities is your sole responsibility.
All travellers must have a valid passport for international travel and many countries require at least 6 months validity from the date of return.
You must ensure that you are aware of any health requirements for your travel and ensure that you carry all necessary vaccination documentation. Please check with your local doctor or specialist vaccination clinic.
We strongly recommend that you take out appropriate travel insurance to cover your travel arrangements. Your insurance protection should at least include cover for cancellation, medical and repatriation expenses, personal injury and accident, death and loss of personal baggage and money and personal liability insurance.
For Australian travellers recommend that you contact the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade “DFAT” or visit their website at www.smartraveller.gov.au http://www.smartraveller.gov.au/ for general travel advice, as well as specific advice (including safety alert levels) relating to the destination/s you wish to visit or transit through. You can also register your travel plans with DFAT, so that you may be more easily contacted in an emergency.
Bali Retreats acts as an agent for travel service providers. Bali Retreats have no responsibility for these services nor do we make or give any warranty or representation regarding their standard. Bookings are made on your behalf subject to the terms and conditions imposed by these service providers. Your legal recourse is against the specific provider and not Bali Retreats. If for any reason, any travel service provider is unable to provide the services for which you have contracted your remedy lies against the provider and not with Bali Retreats.
The accommodation is provided without any representatives or warranties express or implied. Neither Bali Retreats Pty Ltd nor its principal makes any representatives or warranties in relation to the accommodation which you have booked.
We do not accept any liability of whatever nature, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, for the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of third party providers over whom we have no direct control. Under circumstances where liability cannot be excluded, such liability is limited to the value of the purchased travel arrangements. We do not accept any liability in contract, tort or otherwise for any injury, damage, loss (including consequential loss), delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by force majeure or any other event which is beyond our control and which is not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part.
Scope of Service
Whilst every effort is taken to ensure all information displayed on our website is accurate; considerable information is accessed from our suppliers and we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of all information nor are we able to guarantee that the site is free of errors or faults.
We reserve the right to change information published on the site at any time.
Information regarding the properties and services listed on our website is provided to us by the individual hotels or suppliers, including descriptions, facilities and visual images. Therefore we are not responsible for any variance in quality from the information supplied to us by the hotel or supplier.
In case of any problems, our Customer Service will use reasonable efforts to assist you and act as a point of contact with the supplier.
